Memory Lamp Installation Instructions

  1. After unboxing your Memory Lamp, find the USB charger and cable. Attach the Type C end of the cable to the lamp (bottom and back of the lamp). Plug the USB charger into an AC outlet and the other end of the cable into it. Turn ON the lamp.

  2. Open up the network settings on your smartphone (or your PC/laptop/tablet). You will see an available network called ‘LibraryLamp_Setup.’ Select it. Enter the password: ‘barondesigned.’ You will then be asked for the network SSID name you want the lamp connected to. [NOTE: This lamp only works with the 2.4Ghz band of your WIFI home router. Make sure your phone is on the same network.] It will also ask for your network's password. Enter it and select ‘Connect.’

  3. Wait 20 seconds or so for the lamp to connect with your network.

  4. Go to your phone browser and enter ‘slideshow.local.’ If you are connected to your home network, you will see the Memory Lamp app allowing your to add and delete images. You will also be able to control the speed of the slideshow as well as check for firmware updates or reset the WIFI settings in the event you wish to start over or move the lamp to another network.

To upload images

 

On the Memory Lamp web app, you will see a ‘Tap to select a photo’ button. Tap it. You will be taken to the photos stored on your phone. Select a photo, move the red box to center the photo to your liking. Select ‘Save to Lamp.’

To delete an image

 

On the Memory Lamp web app, you will see thumbnails of all the photos you have on the lamp. To delete a phone, select the ‘X’ on the top corner of the thumbnail, and tap ‘Ok’ to delete.

The Lamp

 

On the power cable, is a rocker switch allowing you to turn the lamp on and off. When turning the lamp on, it will reconnect to your home network automatically.

 

The Memory Lamp does NOT upload your photos to the cloud or any other device other than the lamp. There are NO subscriptions to purchase.

 

You may wish to check for a firmware update occasionally. Do so by tapping the button at the bottom of the app screen.
